धर्मस्य बहुद्वारत्वम् — Nārada’s Audience with Indra (Śānti-parva 340)
सिद्धा होते महाभागा: पुरा होकान्तिनो5भवन् | तमोरजोभिरननिमिुक्ता मां प्रवेक्ष्यन्त्यसंशयम्
siddhā hote mahābhāgāḥ purā hy ekāntino 'bhavan | tamo-rajobhir anirmuktā māṁ pravekṣyanty asaṁśayam ||
भीष्म म्हणाले—येथे वसणारे हे सर्व महाभाग आधीच सिद्ध झाले आहेत. पूर्वीही हे माझे एकनिष्ठ भक्त होते. तम आणि रज यांपासून अलिप्त राहून हे निःसंशय माझ्यातच लीन होतील.
