Śalya-hatānantarāṇi: Madrarāja-padānugānāṃ praskandana and the Pandava counter-encirclement (शल्यहतानन्तराणि—मद्रराजपदानुगानां प्रस्कन्दनम्)
त॑ परे नाभ्यवर्तन्त मर्त्या मृत्युमिवागतम्
taṁ pare nābhyavartanta martyā mṛtyum ivāgatam
संजय म्हणाला—समोरचे योद्धे त्याच्याजवळ येण्याचे धाडस करू शकले नाहीत; जणू मृत्यूच त्यांच्या पुढे आला होता. रणकोपात एकच पराक्रमी योद्धा जेव्हा अपरिहार्य परिणामाचे रूप धारण करतो, तेव्हा धीरांचाही निर्धार डळमळतो.
