Report of the Night Raid and Yudhiṣṭhira’s Lament
येषामर्थाय पापं स्थाद् विजयस्य सुहृद्वधैः । निर्जितिरप्रमत्ति्हि वेजिता जितकाशिन:
yeṣām arthāya pāpaṁ syād vijayasya suhṛd-vadhaiḥ | nirjitir apramattir hi vejītā jitakāśinaḥ ||
ज्यांच्या विजयासाठी आपल्या सुहृदांचा वध करून पाप करावे लागते, ते काही काळ विजयलक्ष्मीच्या वैभवात आनंदित होतील; पण अखेरीस असा कलुषित विजय टिकत नाही—सतत सावध शत्रूंच्या हातून त्यांना पराभव पत्करावाच लागतो।
