ततस्तव सुतो राजन्‌ दृष्टवा सैन्यं तथागतम्‌ | दुःशासनो भशं क्ुद्धों युद्धायार्जुनमभ्यगात्‌,राजन! सेनाकी वह दुरवस्था देखकर आपके पुत्र दुःशासनको बड़ा क्रोध हुआ और वह युद्धके लिये अर्जुनके सामने जा पहुँचा

tatas tava suto rājan dṛṣṭvā sainyaṃ tathāgatam | duḥśāsano bhṛśaṃ kruddho yuddhāyārjunam abhyagāt ||

संजय म्हणाला—राजन्! सैन्याची ती दुर्दशा पाहून तुमचा पुत्र दुःशासन अत्यंत क्रुद्ध झाला आणि युद्धासाठी अर्जुनासमोर पुढे गेला।
