भीष्मस्य अप्रतिमपराक्रमः — शिखण्डिपुरस्कृतः प्रहारः

Bhīṣma’s unmatched momentum and the assault with Śikhaṇḍin in the lead

वासुदेवं च विंशत्या ताडयामास संयुगे । महाराज! दुःशासनने तीन बाणोंद्वारा पाण्डुनन्दन अर्जुनको और बीस बाणोंसे वसुदेवनन्दन श्रीकृष्णको युद्धमें घायल किया

sañjaya uvāca |

vāsudevaṃ ca viṃśatyā tāḍayāmāsa saṃyuge |

mahārāja! duḥśāsanena trīn bāṇair dvārā pāṇḍunandanaṃ arjunaṃ ca viṃśati-bāṇaiḥ vasudeva-nandanaṃ śrīkṛṣṇaṃ yuddhe ghāyalīkṛtam |

संजय म्हणाला—महाराज! युद्धात दुःशासनाने तीन बाणांनी पांडुनंदन अर्जुनाला आणि वीस बाणांनी वसुदेवनंदन श्रीकृष्णाला जखमी केले.
