क्वचिच्च केकारुतनादितं शुभं क्वचिच्च कारण्डवनादनादितम् क्वचिच्च मत्तालिकुलाकुलीकृतं मदाकुलाभिर् भ्रमराङ्गनादिभिः
Transliteration
kvacicca kekārutanāditaṃ śubhaṃ kvacicca kāraṇḍavanādanāditam kvacicca mattālikulākulīkṛtaṃ madākulābhir bhramarāṅganādibhiḥ
Translation
कुठे शुभ केकारवाने निनादत होते, कुठे कारण्डव पक्ष्यांच्या नादाने गुंजत होते। तर कुठे मदमत्त मधमाश्यांच्या थव्यांनी ते दाट झाले होते, जणू मधुरसाने उन्मत्त भ्रामरी-अंगना त्याला चैतन्य देत आहेत—असा उपवन पाशबद्ध पशूंचे बंध सैल करणाऱ्या पति प्रभु शिवास शोभणाऱ्या पवित्र आनंदाने उजळून निघाला होता।
