अध्याय 66: इक्ष्वाकुवंश-ऐलवंशप्रवाहः (त्रिशङ्कु-राम-ययात्यादि-प्रकरणम्)

अक्रूरं हिंसयामास ब्रह्महत्यामवाप सः स लोहगन्धी राजर्षिः परिधावन्नितस्ततः

Transliteration

akrūraṃ hiṃsayāmāsa brahmahatyāmavāpa saḥ sa lohagandhī rājarṣiḥ paridhāvannitastataḥ

Translation

अक्रूराला इजा करून त्याने ब्रह्महत्येचे पाप मिळवले. तो राजर्षि लोखंडासारख्या दुर्गंधीने युक्त होऊन, दुष्कर्मजन्य पाशांनी जखडल्यासारखा इकडे-तिकडे धावू लागला.
