लिङ्गार्चनपूर्वकं स्नानाचमनविधिः

Snana–Achamana as Preparation for Linga-Archana

भावदुष्टो ऽम्भसि स्नात्वा भस्मना च न शुध्यति भावशुद्धश्चरेच्छौचम् अन्यथा न समाचरेत्

Transliteration

bhāvaduṣṭo 'mbhasi snātvā bhasmanā ca na śudhyati bhāvaśuddhaścarecchaucam anyathā na samācaret

Translation

ज्याचा भाव दूषित आहे तो पाण्यात स्नान करूनही किंवा भस्म लावूनही शुद्ध होत नाही. ज्याचा भाव शुद्ध आहे त्यानेच शौच पाळावे; अन्यथा केवळ दिखावा करू नये.
