मातुस्त्वतितरां पुत्रे स्नेहो मोहसमुद्भव: । कृतद्युते: सपत्नीनां प्रजाकामज्वरोऽभवत् ॥ ३७ ॥
mātus tv atitarāṁ putre sneho moha-samudbhavaḥ kṛtadyuteḥ sapatnīnāṁ prajā-kāma-jvaro ’bhavat
मातेचे पुत्रावरील स्नेहही मोहातून उत्पन्न होऊन अतिशय वाढला. कृतद्युतीचा पुत्र पाहून इतर राण्यांना पुत्रप्राप्तीच्या इच्छेचा जणू तीव्र ज्वर चढला.
