कृच्छ्रलब्धेऽथ राजर्षेस्तनयेऽनुदिनं पितु: । यथा नि:स्वस्य कृच्छ्राप्ते धने स्नेहोऽन्ववर्धत ॥ ३६ ॥
kṛcchra-labdhe ’tha rājarṣes tanaye ’nudinaṁ pituḥ yathā niḥsvasya kṛcchrāpte dhane sneho ’nvavardhata
राजर्षीला मोठ्या कष्टाने पुत्र मिळाल्यामुळे पित्याचे स्नेहभाव दिवसेंदिवस वाढत गेले; जसा दरिद्री माणूस कष्टाने मिळालेल्या धनावर रोज अधिकच आसक्त होतो।
