Prelude to Vāmana
तं नेत्रगोचरं वीक्ष्य सहसोत्थाय सादरम् । ननाम भुवि कायेन दण्डवत् प्रीतिविह्वला ॥ ५ ॥
taṁ netra-gocaraṁ vīkṣya sahasotthāya sādaram nanāma bhuvi kāyena daṇḍavat-prīti-vihvalā
भगवानांना नेत्रांसमोर पाहताच अदिती तत्क्षणी उभी राहिली आणि प्रेमाने विह्वल होऊन आदरपूर्वक भूमीवर दंडवत् पडून नमस्कार केला।
