gadā-prahāra-vyathito bhṛśaṁ vihvalito gajaḥ jānubhyāṁ dharaṇīṁ spṛṣṭvā kaśmalaṁ paramaṁ yayau

जंभासुराच्या गदाप्रहाराने इंद्राचा हत्ती अत्यंत व्यथित व गोंधळून गेला. तो गुडघ्यांवर जमिनीला स्पर्श करून परम मूर्च्छेत पडला।
