अष्ट जाता भूता प्रथमजर्तस्याष्टेन्द्रर्त्विजो दैव्या ये। अष्टयोनिरदितिरष्टपुत्राष्टमीं रात्रिमभि हव्यमेति

IAST Transliteration

aṣṭá jātā́ bhūtā́ prathamajártasyāṣṭéndrartvíjo daivyā́ yé | aṣṭáyonir áditiḥ aṣṭáputrāṣṭamī́ṃ rā́trim abhí havyám eti ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Eight beings are born of the first begetting; eight are Indra’s divine officiants who (serve). Eight-wombed is Aditi, eight-soned: unto the eighth Night she comes, toward the oblation.

Translation

प्रथम जननातून आठ भूतें/जीव जन्मले; सेवा करणारे इंद्राचे दैवी ऋत्विज् (याजक) आठ आहेत. अदिती अष्ट-योनी, अष्ट-पुत्रा आहे; ती अष्टमी रात्रिकडे, हव्य (आहुती)कडे येते.
