अपामार्गः। उ॒तो अ॒स्यब॑न्धुकृदु॒तो अ॑सि॒ नु जा॑मि॒कृत्। उ॒तो कृ॑त्या॒कृतः॑ प्र॒जां न॒डमि॒वा छि॑न्धि॒ वार्षि॑कम्
apāmā́rgaḥ | utó asyábadhukṛ́d utó asi nú jāmikṛ́t | utó kṛtyākṛ́taḥ prajā́ṃ naḍám iva chindhi vā́rṣikam ||
Apāmārga—moreover thou mak’st a friend; moreover, now, thou mak’st a kinsman. Moreover, as worker against the Kṛtyā, cut off the folk’s year-haunting ill, as one would cut a reed.
अपामार्गा! तू पुन्हा मित्र घडवणारा आहेस; आणि आता स्वजन/नातेवाईक घडवणारा आहेस. तसेच कृत्या-विरोधी कर्मकर्ता होऊन, प्रजेला वर्षभर छळणारा रोग-दोष—जसा नरकट कापावा—तसा कापून दूर कर.
