विवाहां ज्ञातीन्त्सर्वानपि क्षापयति ब्रह्मगवी ब्रह्मज्यस्य क्षत्रियेणापुनर्दीयमाना
vi-vāhā́n jñātī́n sárvān ápi kṣāpayati brahma-gavī́ brahma-jyásya kṣatríyeṇā́punaḥ-dīyamānā
The marriage-alliances, the kinsmen—all likewise it wasteth away—when the brahmagavī, withheld from restitution by a Kṣatriya, belongeth to the brahmajya-offender.
विवाह-संबंध, ज्ञाती—सर्वांनाही हे क्षीण करते—जेव्हा ब्रह्मगवी (ब्राह्मणाची गाय) क्षत्रियाने प्रत्यर्पण (परत देणे) रोखून धरलेली असता, ती ब्रह्मज्य-अपराध्याच्या ताब्यात राहते.
