लब्धलाभापगमने यस्यामित्रो लाभेन शक्त्या हीनः स पार्ष्णिग्राहोऽतिसंधत्ते यस्य वा यातव्यः शत्रोर्विग्रहापकारसमर्थः स्यात् ॥ कZ_०७.१३.२१ ॥

Transliteration

labdhalābhāpagamane yasyāmitro lābhena śaktyā hīnaḥ sa pārṣṇigrāho 'tisaṃdhatte yasya vā yātavyaḥ śatror vigrahāpakārasamarthaḥ syāt

Translation

आधीच मिळालेला लाभ निसटून जाण्याची शक्यता असताना, त्या लाभामुळे साधनसंपत्ती व शक्तीने दुर्बल झालेला शत्रू ज्याचा आहे, त्या राजाविरुद्ध पार्ष्णिग्राह (पाठीमागचा शत्रू) ‘अतिसंधि’ करतो. तसेच, ज्याचा यातव्य (ज्यावर चाल करून जायचे) शत्रूविरुद्ध विग्रह व अपकार करण्यास समर्थ असेल, तेव्हाही तो अतिसंधि करतो.
