FAQs

It teaches a precise japa/recitation protocol: announce Śiva’s injunction and recite the mūla-mantra continuously (without breaks), oriented from the east toward the Īśāna (north-east) direction.

It preserves practical liturgical technique—directional orientation, proclamation formulas, and standards for uninterrupted mantra-flow—showing the Agni Purāṇa’s manual-like coverage of worship procedure alongside its many other subjects.

Unbroken, steady mūla-mantra recitation is presented as a discipline that stabilizes attention and ritual purity, aligning the performer with Śiva’s injunction and strengthening the efficacy (siddhi) of the rite.
