परिवेशयेदिति ख तथैव सुप्रवर्तनमिति ज , ट च विशेषेणोपनिषिद्योगैर् हन्याच्छस्त्रादिना द्विषः जातिमात्रं द्विजं नैव हन्यात् सामोत्तरं वशे
pariveśayediti kha tathaiva supravartanamiti ja , ṭa ca viśeṣeṇopaniṣidyogair hanyācchastrādinā dviṣaḥ jātimātraṃ dvijaṃ naiva hanyāt sāmottaraṃ vaśe
‘परिवेशयेत्’ असा ख-पाठ आहे; तसेच ‘सुप्रवर्तनम्’ असा ज व ट पाठांत आहे. विशेषतः गुप्त/रणनीतिक उपायांनी शस्त्रादि वापरून शत्रूंना ठार करावे. पण केवळ जन्मामुळे द्विज (ब्राह्मण) याचा वध कधीही करू नये; साम व योग्य प्रतिदान/समेट देऊन त्याला वश करावे.
