FAQs

It teaches a yogic visualization (dhyāna) of prāṇa or subtle energy entering via the brahmarandhra and being mentally traced through key bodily stations down to the feet—used for prāṇa-sañcāra, internal purification, and concentration.

Beyond myth and devotion, the Agni Purana preserves applied yogic/tantric practice—mapping subtle-body meditation in a procedural way—showing its wide scope across ritual, inner disciplines, and technical sādhanā.

By disciplined contemplation of the inward current through vital centers, the practitioner steadies the mind, purifies inner channels, and supports liberation-oriented practice (yoga-siddhi and spiritual refinement) through sustained meditative control.
