FAQs

It states the phala-shruti (results) of performing the Shatrughna homa to the scale of a koṭi-homa, emphasizing that outcomes are linked to proper dakṣiṇā (ritual gifts) and the intended aim.

It exemplifies the Agni Purana’s ritual-technical cataloging: a specific homa type, its required magnitude (koṭi), and a structured list of results spanning worldly aims (food, kingship, victory, enjoyment) and ultimate aim (liberation).

It frames ritual action as karma with graded fruits—prosperity and victory as well as mukti—while stressing ethical-ritual completeness through dakṣiṇā, which sustains the rite and aligns merit with intention.
