ॐ नमो भगवते रुद्राय प्रेताधिपतये गुत्त्व गर्ज भ्रामय मुञ्च मुह्य कट आविश सुवर्णपतङ्ग रुद्रो ज्ञापयति ठ पातालक्षोभमन्त्रोयं मन्त्रणाद्विषनाशनः दंशकाहिदंशे सद्यो दष्टः काष्ठशिलादिना
oṃ namo bhagavate rudrāya pretādhipataye guttva garja bhrāmaya muñca muhya kaṭa āviśa suvarṇapataṅga rudro jñāpayati ṭha pātālakṣobhamantroyaṃ mantraṇādviṣanāśanaḥ daṃśakāhidaṃśe sadyo daṣṭaḥ kāṣṭhaśilādinā
ॐ भगवंत रुद्रास नमस्कार, प्रेतगणांच्या अधिपतीस वंदन। “बांध, गर्ज, फिरव, सोड, मोह पाड, प्रहार कर, प्रवेश कर; हे सुवर्ण-पतंग!”—असा रुद्र आदेश देतो. हा ‘पाताळ-क्षोभ’ मंत्र आहे; याच्या जपाने विष नष्ट होते. डंख व सर्पदंशात, अचानक दंश झाल्यास, तसेच लाकूड-दगड इत्यादींच्या स्पर्शाने झालेल्या दंशातही, त्वरित विषशमनासाठी याचा उपयोग करावा।
