FAQs

It prescribes a śānti-prayoga: worship of Śrī using pañcagavya-type offerings (including cow-dung as a purificatory/ritual medium) and worship of Vāsudeva with gandha and related upacāras (perfume, incense, etc.) as an alternative pacification method.

It exemplifies the text’s practical ritual manual dimension—codifying specific materials (pañcagavya, gandha-upacāras) and their intended results (śānti, śrī/pṛosperity), alongside theology (Śrī and Vāsudeva) in a concise procedural instruction.

The rite is framed as producing śānti (averting obstacles/inauspiciousness) and attracting śrī (prosperity), by aligning daily conduct with purificatory substances and devotional offerings to Śrī and Vāsudeva.
