FAQs

It highlights practical dharmic conduct: assent to elders’ instruction, maintaining mental steadiness, and performing deva-archana (formal worship) as part of disciplined daily observance.

Alongside its many technical sections (ritual, polity, medicine, arts), the Agni Purana also preserves Itihasa narratives like Rama-katha to model ideal ethics—linking ritual practice (worship) with exemplary conduct (obedience and composure).

Agreeing to righteous counsel, remaining steady, and worshipping the gods are presented as dharma-supporting actions that purify intention and generate merit, reinforcing filial piety and devotional discipline.
