इत्य् आदिमहापुराणे आग्नेये सङ्क्षेपपवित्रारोहणं नाम सप्तत्रिंशो ऽध्यायः अथ अष्टत्रिंशो ऽध्यायः देवालयनिर्माणफलं अग्निर् उवाच वासुदेवाद्यालयस्य कृतौ वक्ष्ये फलादिकं चिकीर्षोर्देवधामादि सहस्रजनिपापनुत्
ity ādimahāpurāṇe āgneye saṅkṣepapavitrārohaṇaṃ nāma saptatriṃśo 'dhyāyaḥ atha aṣṭatriṃśo 'dhyāyaḥ devālayanirmāṇaphalaṃ agnir uvāca vāsudevādyālayasya kṛtau vakṣye phalādikaṃ cikīrṣordevadhāmādi sahasrajanipāpanut
अशा प्रकारे आदिमहापुराण आग्नेयपुराणातील ‘संक्षेप-पवित्रारोहण’ नावाचा सदतीसावा अध्याय समाप्त झाला. आता अडतीसावा अध्याय ‘देवालयनिर्माणफल’ आरंभ होतो. अग्नि म्हणाले—वासुदेवाच्या आलयापासून देवालय बांधण्याचे फल इत्यादी मी सांगतो; देवधाम उभारू इच्छिणाऱ्याचे सहस्र जन्मांचे पाप नष्ट होते।
