Concept: Brahman/Paramātman as the source, support, and essence of the cosmos; Praṇava (Oṃ) as the sonic-symbol of that reality; Puruṣa as the immanent center of the universe and the meditator.
Application: Use Oṃ-japa synchronized with visualization: on inhalation expand the brahmāṇḍa, on exhalation rest attention in the central Puruṣa; contemplate 'origin-support-essence' to dissolve subject–object split.

Related Themes: Agni Purana 24 (Brahmāṇḍa-vicāra and dhyāna sequence following bhūta-śuddhi)
It teaches a specific dhyāna-krama (meditation sequence): contemplate the brahmāṇḍa, recognize the Supreme as its source/support/essence, and then visualize the Puruṣa-form within, identified with the Praṇava (Oṃ) as the core mantra.
Alongside ritual and practical sciences, the Agni Purana also preserves yogic and cosmological upāsanā: this verse compresses metaphysics (source/support/essence), cosmography (brahmāṇḍa), mantra theory (praṇava), and visualization practice (Puruṣa-dhyāna) into a usable instruction.
Meditating on the Puruṣa as Oṃ-centered reality is presented as a purifying upāsanā that stabilizes the mind, aligns the meditator with the Supreme basis of the cosmos, and supports liberation-oriented merit (puṇya) through inner worship.
