शरणं त्वां प्रपद्यन्ते ये देवि परमेश्वरि । न तेषां जायते किञ्चिदशुभं रणसङ्कटे ॥
śaraṇaṃ tvāṃ prapadyante ye devi parameśvari | na teṣāṃ jāyate kiñcid aśubhaṃ raṇasaṅkaṭe ||
ഹേ ദേവീ, ഹേ പരമേശ്വരീ! നിന്റെ ശരണം പ്രാപിക്കുന്നവർക്ക് യുദ്ധസങ്കടത്തിൽ യാതൊരു അശുഭവും സംഭവിക്കുകയില്ല.
