किमागमनकृत्यं ते ब्रह्मन् ब्रूहि ममाचिरम् । किं च देवास्त्वरायुक्ता आगता मम सन्निधौ ॥

kim āgamanakṛtyaṁ te brahman brūhi mamāciram | kiṁ ca devās tvarāyuktā āgatā mama sannidhau ||

ഹേ ബ്രഹ്മൻ! നിന്റെ വരവിന്റെ ഉദ്ദേശ്യം എന്ത്? വൈകാതെ എനിക്കു പറയുക. പിന്നെ ദേവന്മാർ ത്വരയോടെ എന്റെ സന്നിധിയിൽ എന്തുകൊണ്ട് വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു?
