एवमुक्त्वा स कपिलः स्वयं विष्णुर्बभूव ह । जैगीषव्यश्च गरुडस्तत्क्षणात् समजायत ॥ ४.२२ ॥

ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞ ഉടനെ ആ കപിലൻ സ്വയം വിഷ്ണുവായി ഭവിച്ചു; ജൈഗീഷവ്യനും അതേ ക്ഷണത്തിൽ ഗരുഡരൂപമായി ഉദിച്ചു.
