देवतां नैव जानामि न मन्त्रं न तथार्चनम् । गुरुपादौ परं ध्यात्वा पश्यामि सततं शुभे ॥ ३८.२४ ॥

“എനിക്ക് ദേവതയെ അറിയില്ല; മന്ത്രവും അറിയില്ല; ആരാധനാവിധിയും അറിയില്ല. എങ്കിലും, ഹേ ശുഭേ! ഗുരുപാദങ്ങളെ പരമമായി ധ്യാനിച്ച് ഞാൻ നിത്യം (ലക്ഷ്യത്തെ) ദർശിക്കുന്നു.”
