उपायोऽतः परो नान्यो विद्यते हि वसुन्धरे ॥ एकादशीं विना येन सर्वपापक्शयो भवेत्
upāyo'taḥ paro nānyo vidyate hi vasundhare | ekādaśīṁ vinā yena sarvapāpakṣayo bhavet ||
ഹേ വസുന്ധരേ! ഇതിലധികം ശ്രേഷ്ഠമായ മറ്റൊരു ഉപായം ഇല്ല. ഏകാദശി ഒഴികെ സർവ്വപാപക്ഷയം വരുത്തുന്ന മറ്റൊരു മാർഗം കാണപ്പെടുന്നില്ല.
