वामनं ब्राह्मणं दृष्ट्वा वाराहं च जलोत्थितम् ॥ धरणी चोद्धृता येन सिंहं चापि महामुने ॥

vāmanaṃ brāhmaṇaṃ dṛṣṭvā vārāhaṃ ca jalotthitam || dharaṇī coddhṛtā yena siṃhaṃ cāpi mahāmune ||

ബ്രാഹ്മണരൂപമായ വാമനനെയും, ജലത്തിൽ നിന്ന് ഉദ്ഭവിച്ച വരാഹനെയും—അവൻ ധരണിയെ ഉയർത്തിയതും—സിംഹാവതാരത്തെയും കണ്ടു, ഹേ മഹാമുനേ।
