जघनस्थं शुचिर्दृष्ट्वा नरश्चन्द्रमसं मुने ॥ नमस्येत्प्रयतो भूत्वा सर्वपापैः प्रमुच्यते ॥

jaghanasthaṃ śucir dṛṣṭvā naraś candramasaṃ mune | namasyet prayato bhūtvā sarvapāpaiḥ pramucyate ||

ഹേ മുനേ, ശുചിയായിട്ട് ജഘനസ്ഥ (കടി/നിതംബ പ്രദേശത്ത് സ്ഥിതമായ) ചന്ദ്രനെ കണ്ട മനുഷ്യൻ ശാസനയോടെ നമസ്കരിക്കണം; അവൻ എല്ലാ പാപങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നും മോചിതനാകുന്നു.
