अथ शुभकर्मफलोदय प्रकरणम् ॥ ऋषिरुवाच ॥ चित्रगुप्तस्य सन्देशो वदतो यो मया श्रुतः ॥ श्रूयतां वै महाभागास्तपःसिद्धा द्विजोत्तमाः ॥
atha śubhakarmaphalodaya prakaraṇam || ṛṣir uvāca || citraguptasya sandeśo vadato yo mayā śrutaḥ || śrūyatāṃ vai mahābhāgās tapaḥsiddhā dvijottamāḥ ||
ഇപ്പോൾ ശുഭകർമ്മഫലോദയപ്രകരണം. ഋഷി പറഞ്ഞു—ചിത്രഗുപ്തന്റെ സന്ദേശം ഞാൻ പറയപ്പെടുമ്പോൾ കേട്ടതാണ്; കേൾക്കുവിൻ, മഹാഭാഗ്യവാന്മാരായ തപസ്സിദ്ധ ദ്വിജോത്തമരേ.
