Description of Infernal Punishments and the Ripening of Karmic Consequences

भक्ष्यं भोज्यं च पानं च न तेषामुपपादितम् ॥ अनुमोदे प्रजा दृष्ट्वा लिप्समानो दुरात्मवान् ॥

bhakṣyaṃ bhojyaṃ ca pānaṃ ca na teṣām upapāditam || anumode prajā dṛṣṭvā lipsamāno durātmavān

അവർക്കു ഭക്ഷ്യവും ഭോജ്യവും പാനീയവും ഒന്നും ഒരുക്കിയില്ല. ജനങ്ങളെ കണ്ട ആ ദുർമനസ്സൻ ലാഭലോഭത്താൽ മാത്രമേ സമ്മതം പ്രകടിപ്പിച്ചുള്ളൂ.
