क्वचिन्नृत्यन् क्वचित्तिष्ठन् क्वचिद्बन्धनसंस्थितः ॥ एवं शतसहस्राणि तस्य राज्ञः पुरोत्तमे ॥

kvacin nṛtyan kvacit tiṣṭhan kvacid bandhana-saṃsthitaḥ || evaṃ śata-sahasrāṇi tasya rājñaḥ purottame ||

എവിടെയോ നൃത്തം ചെയ്യുന്നു, എവിടെയോ നിൽക്കുന്നു, എവിടെയോ ബന്ധനം/നിയമത്തിൽ നിലകൊള്ളുന്നു—ഇങ്ങനെ ആ രാജാവിന്റെ ഉത്തമ നഗരത്തിൽ ലക്ഷക്കണക്കിന് ദൃശ്യങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ടാകുന്നു।
