eṣa dharmo gṛhasthānāṃ putrapautrasamanvitāḥ || trātāraś ca bhaviṣyanti vartayanto yathāsukham ||

ഇതാണ് ഗൃഹസ്ഥരുടെ ധർമ്മം: പുത്ര-പൗത്രസഹിതരായി, യഥാസുഖം ജീവിതം നയിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് അവർ രക്ഷകരും ആശ്രയദാതാക്കളും ആകുന്നു।
