अक्षय्यं तस्य मन्यन्ते पितरः श्राद्धतर्पिताः ॥ नरा ये पितृभक्तास्ते प्राप्नुवन्ति परां गतिम् ॥
akṣayyaṃ tasya manyante pitaraḥ śrāddha-tarpitāḥ | narā ye pitṛbhaktās te prāpnuvanti parāṃ gatim ||
ശ്രാദ്ധംകൊണ്ട് തൃപ്തരായ പിതാക്കൾ അവന്റെ ദാനത്തെ അക്ഷയമെന്നു കരുതുന്നു. പിതൃഭക്തിയുള്ളവർ പരമഗതി പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു.
