पितर ऊचुः ॥ अस्मद्वंशकरो नित्यं नाम्ना मेधातिथिः प्रभुः ॥ वयं तस्यैव पितरो नरकं गन्तुमुद्यताः ॥

പിതാക്കന്മാർ പറഞ്ഞു—‘മേധാതിഥി’ എന്ന പ്രഭു നിത്യവും നമ്മുടെ വംശത്തെ തുടരുന്നവൻ; അവൻ നമ്മുടെ വംശജനാണ്. ഞങ്ങൾ അവന്റെ പിതാക്കന്മാരാണ്; നരകത്തിലേക്ക് പോകാൻ ഉദ്യതരാണ്.
