उत्पन्नं संशयं मेऽद्य भगवन् वक्तुमर्हसि॥ चातुर्वर्ण्येषु सर्वेषु दद्याद्दानं द्विजोत्तमे॥
utpannaṃ saṃśayaṃ me'dya bhagavan vaktumarhasi || cāturvarṇyeṣu sarveṣu dadyāddānaṃ dvijottame
ഇന്ന് എനിക്ക് സംശയം ഉദിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; ഭഗവൻ, നിങ്ങൾ വിശദീകരിക്കണം. നാലു വർണങ്ങളിലുമെല്ലാം, ദ്വിജോത്തമാ, ദാനം ആര്ക്ക് നൽകണം?॥
