औदुम्बरे च पात्रे च कृत्वा शान्त्युदकानि च ॥ प्रोक्षयेच्च गृहं सर्वं यत्रातिष्ठत्स्वयं द्विजः
audumbare ca pātre ca kṛtvā śāntyudakāni ca || prokṣayec ca gṛhaṁ sarvaṁ yatrātiṣṭhat svayaṁ dvijaḥ
ഉദുംബര (അത്തി) മരപ്പാത്രത്തിൽ ശാന്ത്യുദകം തയ്യാറാക്കി, ആ ദ്വിജൻ സ്വയം താമസിച്ചിരുന്ന ഗൃഹമൊട്ടാകെ പ്രോക്ഷണം (തളിക്കൽ) ചെയ്യണം।
