Determination of the Origin and Procedure of the Ancestral Offering

एवमुक्तो मया देवि गृह्य तत्र कमण्डलुम् ॥ उपस्पृश्य शुचिर्भूत्वा ब्रह्मा चोत्पादयन्सुरान् ॥
evam ukto mayā devi gṛhya tatra kamaṇḍalum || upaspṛśya śucir bhūtvā brahmā cotpādayan surān ||
ഹേ ദേവി! ഞാൻ ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ, ബ്രഹ്മാവ് അവിടെ കമണ്ഡലു എടുത്തു; ആചമനം/ഉപസ്പർശം ചെയ്ത് ശുദ്ധനായി ദേവന്മാരെ സൃഷ്ടിക്കാൻ തുടങ്ങി.
