कारणकारणं ह्युग्रतेजसं द्युतिमन्तं महापुरुषं नमो नमः ॥ अनेन मन्त्रेण वेश्मनि प्रविश्य स्थापनां कुर्यात् ॥ अनेनैव तु मन्त्रेण स्थापयेन्मां समाहितः ॥ पूर्ववत्स्थापयेत्तत्र चतुरः कलशान्पुरा ॥ चतुरस्तान्गृहीत्वा च इमं मन्त्रमुदाहरेत् ॥
kāraṇakāraṇaṃ hy ugratejasaṃ dyutimantaṃ mahāpuruṣaṃ namo namaḥ || anena mantreṇa veśmani praviśya sthāpanāṃ kuryāt || anenaiva tu mantreṇa sthāpayen māṃ samāhitaḥ || pūrvavat sthāpayet tatra caturaḥ kalaśān purā || caturās tān gṛhītvā ca imaṃ mantram udāharet ||
“കാരണങ്ങളുടെ കാരണമായ, ഉഗ്രതേജസ്സുള്ള, ദ്യുതിമാനായ മഹാപുരുഷനു നമോ നമഃ।” ഈ മന്ത്രത്തോടെ ഗൃഹത്തിൽ പ്രവേശിച്ച് സ്ഥാപനം നടത്തണം; ഇതേ മന്ത്രത്തോടെ മനസ്സിനെ സമാഹിതമാക്കി എന്നെ സ്ഥാപിക്കണം. മുൻവിധിപ്രകാരം ആദ്യം അവിടെ നാല് കലശങ്ങൾ സ്ഥാപിക്കണം; ആ നാലും കൈയിലെടുത്ത് പിന്നെ ഈ മന്ത്രം ഉച്ചരിക്കണം.
