The Birth of Gokarṇa and the Fruits of Śiva Worship

शुकस्य वचनाद्यावत्पूजार्थमुपकल्पितम् ॥ न ददाति ततस्तत्र वनाच्छबर आगतः ॥

śukasya vacanād yāvat pūjārtham upakalpitam | na dadāti tatas tatra vanāc chabara āgataḥ ||

ശുകന്റെ വചനപ്രകാരം അതിഥിപൂജയ്ക്കായി ഒരുക്കം ചെയ്തിട്ടും അവൾ അത് നൽകുകയില്ല. അപ്പോൾ തന്നേ ആ സമയത്ത് വനത്തിൽ നിന്ന് ശബരൻ അവിടെ എത്തി।
