स्नानं पूजादिकं तद्वन्मार्जनं दीपकर्म च ॥ कुर्वन्ति देवतागारे ताः सर्वाः शुभलोचनाः ॥

snānaṃ pūjādikaṃ tadvan mārjanaṃ dīpa-karma ca | kurvanti devatāgāre tāḥ sarvāḥ śubha-locanāḥ ||

സ്നാനം, പൂജ മുതലായവ, അതുപോലെ മാർജനം (ശുചീകരണം)യും ദീപകർമ്മവും—ഇവയെല്ലാം ശുഭലോചനകളായ സ്ത്രീകൾ ദേവാലയത്തിൽ നിർവഹിച്ചു।
