क्रयविक्रयसक्तस्य कालो दीर्घो गतस्तदा ॥ कदाचिदपि पापोऽसौ न साधु गमनं गतः ॥
krayavikrayasaktasya kālo dīrgho gatas tadā || kadācid api pāpo 'sau na sādhu gamanaṃ gataḥ ||
വാങ്ങലും വിൽപ്പനയും മാത്രമാക്കി ആസക്തനായ അവന്റെ കാലം ദീർഘമായി കടന്നു. ആ പാപി ഒരിക്കലും സത്സംഗത്തിലേക്കോ സന്മാർഗത്തിലേക്കോ പോയില്ല.
