श्रीवराह उवाच ॥ पुरा सप्तर्षिभिः पृष्टो ब्रह्मा लोकपितामहः ॥ इदमेव पुरा प्रोक्तं यथा पृष्टा त्वया ह्यहम् ॥

śrīvarāha uvāca || purā saptarṣibhiḥ pṛṣṭo brahmā lokapitāmahaḥ || idam eva purā proktaṃ yathā pṛṣṭā tvayā hy aham ||

ശ്രീവരാഹൻ പറഞ്ഞു—പുരാതനകാലത്ത് സപ്തർഷികൾ ലോകപിതാമഹനായ ബ്രഹ്മാവിനോട് ഇതേ കാര്യമാണ് ചോദിച്ചത്; അപ്പോൾ അദ്ദേഹം ഇതേവിധം പ്രസ്താവിച്ചു, നീ ഇന്നെനിക്ക് ചോദിച്ചതുപോലെ തന്നെ।
