Varāha

Varaha Avatara Context: {"is_varaha_focus":true,"aspect_highlighted":"dialogue","earth_interaction":"Varāha contrasts the qualified and unqualified, explaining to Bhū-devī that sinners, deluded by his māyā, cannot perceive; he then specifies a calendrical approach to Śālmalī."}

Bhu Devi Dialogue: {"is_dialogue":true,"speaker_role":"instructor","bhu_devi_state":"concerned, discerning","key_question":"Why do some fail to see the sacred vision, and what is the correct calendrical timing/observance connected with approaching Śālmalī?"}

FAQs

It combines moral qualification (who can 'see') with calendrical observance (Dvādaśī), showing how Purāṇic pilgrimage traditions are regulated by both ethics and ritual time.

The immediate location-marker is the Śālmalī; the calendrical term suggests a scheduled gathering/approach to that landmark within the broader Sūrpāraka-kṣetra context.

It asserts that perception/attainment is conditioned by moral disposition and freedom from delusion—presented descriptively as a criterion within the text’s ritual framework.
