मरणं च विशालाक्षि श्वेतद्वीपं च गच्छति ॥ अन्यच्च ते प्रवक्ष्यामि तच्छृणुष्व वसुन्धरे ॥
maraṇaṁ ca viśālākṣi śvetadvīpaṁ ca gacchati || anyac ca te pravakṣyāmi tac chṛṇuṣva vasundhare ||
ഹേ വിശാലാക്ഷി! മരണവും ശ്വേതദ്വീപത്തിലേക്കു പോകുന്നു. ഹേ വസുന്ധരേ! മറ്റൊന്നും ഞാൻ പറയും—ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചു കേൾക്കുക.
