पित्रर्थे मृगयां यातो मृगलिप्सुर्वने तदा ॥ अरण्ये स तदा गत्वा व्याघ्रसिंहनिषेविते

pitrarthe mṛgayāṁ yāto mṛgalipsurvane tadā || araṇye sa tadā gatvā vyāghrasiṁhaniṣevite

പിതാവിന്റെ കാര്യമെന്നോണം അവൻ അന്ന് വേട്ടയ്ക്കായി പോയി, വനത്തിൽ മൃഗത്തെ ആഗ്രഹിച്ച്. അപ്പോൾ കടുവകളും സിംഹങ്ങളും സഞ്ചരിക്കുന്ന അരണ്യത്തിലേക്ക് അവൻ പ്രവേശിച്ചു.
