प्रायश्चित्तं प्रवक्ष्यामि येन शुध्यति किल्बिषात् ॥ कृत्वा चतुर्थभक्षं तु दिनानि दश पञ्च च ॥
prāyaścittaṁ pravakṣyāmi yena śudhyati kilbiṣāt || kṛtvā caturthabhakṣaṁ tu dināni daśa pañca ca ||
ദോഷത്തിൽ നിന്ന് ശുദ്ധിയാകുന്ന പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം ഞാൻ പ്രസ്താവിക്കുന്നു. ‘ചതുർത്ഥ-ഭക്ഷ’ നിഷ്ഠ സ്വീകരിച്ച് പത്ത് കൂടെ അഞ്ച് ദിവസം (അഥവാ പതിനഞ്ച് ദിവസം) ആചരിക്കണം.
